EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Hi, I’m Laura – a qualified, trauma-informed integrative counsellor. I work with a range of therapeutic approaches, including Person-Centred and Psychodynamic Therapy, to provide a tailored experience that supports your individual needs. I work with individuals, couples, young people, and families, offering compassionate guidance through life’s challenges.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy and am currently completing a Master’s in Psychology. My academic background is complemented by extensive hands-on experience, particularly in supporting survivors of trauma and abuse through my work with the Rape and Sexual Violence Project (RSVP).

In addition to my counselling practice, I am the founder of ALIVE Wellness Centre CIC, a community organisation supporting survivors of knife crime and youth violence. I am deeply passionate about helping people process their experiences, reconnect with themselves, and move forward with renewed strength and resilience.

I offer a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space—whether in person, online, or by phone—where you can feel truly heard and supported. Together, we will explore your story, identify what’s holding you back, and begin the journey toward healing and personal growth.
