EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
I am a bilingual cognitive behavioural psychotherapist and a trainee mindfulness-based cognitive therapist (MBCT) with 8 years of experience. My training has involved working with children and adults that experienced difficult life circumstances (abuse, neglect, being looked after, etc.). Therefore, I place the utmost attention to develop a relationship of trust and mutual growth with my clients.
Over the past years, I have developed expertise in helping with a range of issues. However, I treat each client as a unique individual within a system or community. I do not consider a diagnosis required to attend psychotherapy sessions. We can conduct a process of self-exploration without necessarily aiming for the remission of the symptoms mentioned below. I work in person and remotely with young people and adults both in Spanish and English. The conditions that I treat include:

-
Depression, bereavement, low self-esteem and assertiveness
-
Self-harming behaviour and mood instability
-
Eating disorders in non-underweight clients.
-
Generalized anxiety, social anxiety, health anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) & perfectionism
-
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), childhood trauma and different types of abuse, including domestic abuse.
-
Neuro-developmental conditions, such as autism or attentional deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
-
Long-term conditions e.g. Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), diabetes, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, and dissociative non-epileptic seizures.

FEES
£70 for individual CBT sessions and/or mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) - each session lasts 50 minutes.
Insurance companies will be considered.
I offer a 15-minute phone call free of charge before starting the sessions for us to get to know each other and consider whether we would like to work together. I tend to use this opportunity to address all the questions that you might have regarding the process - for example, the frequency of the sessions and method of contact between them. I would be delighted to help you out with your challenges and address your feedback alongside the sessions. Looking forward to speaking with you!
