EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Sometimes life can be overwhelming. You may feel like somethings not quite right or you’re going through a difficult period in your life. There may be something from your past that is affecting your present, difficulties in your relationships, problems at work, a bereavement or loss or anxiety and self-esteem issues, or you may not even know what ‘it’ is.
Talking to friends and family can be helpful but you may feel that you need something more, a place away from your everyday life, time for you where you can explore your worries and concerns at your own pace and in your own way. I’m Sarah and I’m a fully qualified integrative counsellor. This means that my training enables me to adapt our way of working together depending on your needs and experiences. There is no ‘one size fits all’ in therapy, it should be as
unique as you are.
I offer a warm, safe space for you to talk. I understand that exploring your thoughts and feelings can be one of the most difficult things to do, but within a supportive environment it can be extremely powerful, developing self-understanding and self-compassion, building resilience, and offering strategies to support you moving forwards. I am also able to offer both open ended therapy and brief, more focused therapy depending on your needs.
When considering counselling, one of the most important aspects is finding the right therapist. Someone you feel comfortable with and able to talk to. I offer afree 10-minute introductory call, where we can talk about what you would like
from counselling and to give you the opportunity to get an idea of how it might feel working together. If you would like to book an introductory call, please get in touch by phone or email and we can arrange a time convenient to you.
