EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
I guess you are reading this because something is not right for you or you want to change or develop in some way. It is not always easy to work through these matters on your own.
Therapy can help you to find a way to a better place, and my role as a therapist is to guide and support you. You can share your issues and burdens with me and I will be alongside you in your difficulties, you will not be on your own. I will give you space to be yourself, where you will be heard with compassion and respect and without judgement. We can work to make sense of your thoughts and feelings, and consider what is troubling you, and develop your ways of coping.
I am a qualified and experienced Integrative Psychotherapist. I place a high emphasis on the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist, as this enables us to talk and work together. Integrative means that I adapt the therapy to you and your unique situation. As a person I am warm and approachable and supportive.
My clients include a wide range of adults of differing ages, genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds; and with issues including relationship difficulties and problems, abuse, trauma, depression and feeling sad, anxiety, workplace stress, low self-esteem and addictions.
It is important for you to find a therapist you feel able to work with. Why not speak to me on the phone for a (no obligation) chat? I would like to see if I can help. I realise that reaching out for help can be daunting and will be respectful of that.
I have a Masters Degree in Integrative Psychotherapy, which includes a year’s preparatory course, thereby representing a total of 5 years training.
I am a registered/accredited member of UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy).
My standard fee is £50 a session; however that may not be affordable, particularly under the current
situation, so please talk to me and I will try to offer a rate to match your circumstances.
