Experience and Skills
Seeing a Psychologist can be daunting, especially for the first time.  My aim is to build a relationship in which you can feel at ease but also open to the challenges that come with any change in life. To help with this, I am happy to offer a free 15min telephone consultation where we can consider your needs and what I may have to offer. Just call 0121 777 1675 or email me at drsura@solihullwellbeingclinic.com

I use positive psychology principles to build hope and find solutions.  I would like to help you feel brighter, more relaxed and more confident to overcome the issues that bring you to therapy. We may start with the past, but with a real focus on improving day to day experiences whilst making way for your preferred future. You should expect early progress within 3-4 sessions, and I tend to work with individuals for 8-12 sessions on average. If longer term psychotherapy is needed, we can of course plan for it.

I have over 22years experience working with adults, couples, families and also children/young people.  I can help with a range of issues, to include depression, anxiety, OCD, work related stress, grief, anger, habit and behaviour problems, self-esteem, trauma, self-harm, personality issues and eating disorders.

I am able to conduct psychological and diagnostic assessments, using psychometric tools and direct observation methods where necessary. I have extensive experience as a court appointed Expert Psychologist, although I am not taking on psycho-legal work at the present time.
