EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

I have a range of experience in adult wellbeing and mental health.  Working in adult education services, I have supported clients with stress and anxiety.  I have also worked for an anger management agency, helping adults (often men) come to terms with the vulnerable feelings beneath their anger.  It is often the case that these vulnerabilities are hidden, only to be expressed through angry behaviours, impatience or frustration.

I have a wide life experience which can be helpful in relating to the clients I work with.  For instance, I have been a SEN teaching assistant, personal trainer and holistic practitioner, before which I was a performing artist and writer.  I try to bring these skills into the counselling space, in creative and interesting ways. For example, I can offer physical fitness sessions as part of a holistic counselling process.
